Bupropion shows benefit for cancer-related fatigue in cancer survivors

At ASCO 2026 Dr Luke Peppone talks to ecancer about findings from a phase III trial evaluating bupropion for the treatment of moderate to severe cancer-related fatigue in patients who had completed surgery, radiotherapy, and/or intravenous anticancer therapy.

The study demonstrated significant improvements in fatigue symptoms with bupropion compared with placebo, supporting its potential use as a treatment option for cancer-related fatigue in clinical practice.
